Since my last blog, we've had some changes in the Fulmer house...we have a walker on our hands! She started the weekend we got back from the beach in August, and now she is really getting the hang of it and is just taking off! We used to have to coax her to walk and she'd take 3, maybe 4 steps. But now she goes all around the house on her own. She also LOVES to play outside. When it's time to come in she pitches a fit. She still crawls if she is on a mission, but it's so fun watching her walk around now. She's such a big girl!
We had such a fun weekend. Friday we had a girls' day. It started with a trip to Target where we found some cute outfits and some cute shoes for Miss A. Then we went and took a nap, met my mom for a small, late lunch, and picked up Addy. Then we went back to Target and Mom got some things for the girls. They are going to be stylin'! After that we went to TCBY (or "Ice Cream Day", as Addy calls it) and got the girls (and us) some ice cream. Later that evening, Clayton, Alice and I went to meet his parents for dinner.
Then Clayton was off on Saturday, which hasn't happened in a while, so we hung out around the house and then went over to my parents' to watch the football games. I did slip out to run some errands -- one being to Starbuck's where I discovered their new Cake Pops (they may not be new, but I don't go there very much anymore). I got two for the girls, and they loved them! I think I'm going to learn to make them...they are delish!
Sunday, we went to church and then lunch with my family. Clayton had to work, so Alice and I went to my parents' house and relaxed and watched Beauty and the Beast (one of my favorite Disney movies). Then we went home and just relaxed the rest of the day.
As for today...well, it was rather boring. So much for fun Labor Day festivites...everyone I know stayed in because of all of this "rain" we were suppose to get. We ended up having one shower this morning, and then a lot of rain later in the evening. But oh well...I guess it was good to have a lazy, "rainy" day.
