This is it! One week and one day until my c-section is scheduled on April 2! We are so ready to meet this little one and finally find out what he/she is! I've been going back and forth as to whether it's a boy or girl, but today I'm feeling like it's a boy. So we shall see! :)
I had a little false alarm last Monday morning, but they stopped the contractions and sent us back home with no baby :-/ We were a little bummed but it has given us an extra couple of weeks with Alice and just being a little family of three, so I'm grateful for that. We've been spending lots of time together just the three of us which has been very special and fun for us and Alice! We had a "family night" on Saturday night and when we asked Alice what she wanted to do on our family night she thought for a second and then said, "just be with each other!" It just doesn't get any sweeter than that! We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl in our lives. I can't wait to see her with her new little sibling and what all she teaches him/her in the years to come.
Last weekend we had so much going on. Friday I had my dance studio's 40th anniversary show and gala which was so much fun. I got to see a lot of girls I danced with years ago and it was fun catching up, and the show was amazing. Also a lot of my best girls were in town so I got to spend some time with them! Then Saturday my friends threw me a baby shower with a "Ready to POP" theme that was so much fun! They really out-did themselves. And I got some great gifts for Baby F! Then Sunday we had a baby shower for my cousin, Whitney, who was in town from Texas. She and I were pregnant the first time together and now again the second time! That was a great shower too! So last weekend was so fun, but very busy.
Here are some pictures from last weekend!
