About a month ago Clayton and I went to Asheville for a little "baby moon" and we had the best time! We relaxed at a very nice B&B, ate at really good restaurants, and went to the Biltmore house which was a first for both of us. However, I started having some Braxton Hicks while we were there which made me worry a little (I never had those with Alice) because at the time I was like 32 weeks or so. But they were just good ol' BH and ended up coming and going and have kept that pattern ever since. With Alice I had only one contraction the day my water broke so this has been all new to me.
But other than that, things are going well. I have continued walking. Not as much as I was at first but at least 3 or 4 days a week for about 30-45 mins so my weight has been pretty steady. I've also been "nesting" like crazy! With Alice I did for about a day about 3 days before she was born, but this time I started like three weeks ago. I've cleaned out and bleached the shelves and drawers in the fridge, organized cabinets, bleached walls and cabinets, have had the laundry done everyday (which never ever happens--it'd be nice to keep that one going lol), and just kept the house clean. So if I go into labor before my c-section we should have a clean house to come home to!
Speaking of, I'm suppose to schedule my c-section in the next few days so I'm pretty excited!
This weekend my friends are throwing a little baby shower and I'm pretty excited about it! We also have a 40th anniversary gala for CBT, the company I used to dance for, on Friday. So a bunch of old and good friends will be coming back for it. And another fun thing is that my cousin, Whitney who is also pregnant, is coming home for the weekend and she is having a baby shower too! So, if Baby F decides to come early I hope he/she waits til after 4:30pm on 3/17 :)
